BASPERSE 525
Basperse 525 is an anionic penetrating and dispersing agent designed for use as a digester pulping aid. The use of Basperse 525 will reduce rejects, increased organics in the black liquor which increases the BTU value, and decrease pulp extractables. The penetrating and wetting ability of Basperse 525 ensures the cooking liquor effectively penetrates the chips to ensure more uniform cooking.
Applications
Basperse 525 is typically added to the white liquor at a rate 8 – 16 pounds per ton of pulp. This product is a lower solids version of Basperse DR-11 for ease of handling and improved dispersibility.
Storage and Handling
Basperse 525 becomes viscous below 50°F. Please store between 70°F and 100°F.

Basperse 525 is manufactured in compliance with the regulations of the Food and Drug Administration as described in 21 CFR 178.3400.

Basperse is available in bulk, tote bins at 2200 pounds net, and 55 gallon drums with a net weight of 450 pounds.
