BASTECH 2301
Bastech 2301 is a high solids silicone emulsion that is designed to control foam and entrained air in the paper pulping process. It has been formulated to minimize silicone carry forward while giving excellent drainage and reduced soda losses.
Applications
Bastech 2301 is typically added at a rate of 0.5 to 2.0 pounds per ton. The addition point is usually to the stock dilution but this can vary due to specific mill equipment and configuration.
Storage and Handling
This product will freeze, please store above 40°F. If frozen the product should be warmed and mixed prior to use.
Regulatory Status
Bastech 2301 is manufactured in compliance with the regulations of the Food and Drug Administration as described in 21 CFR 176.210.
This product does not contain components that are regulated by California Proposition 65.
Packaging Information
Bastech 2301 is available in bulk, tote bins at 2200 pounds net, and 55 gallon drums with a net weight of 450 pounds.
