BASTECH 961
Bastech 961 is a fatty alcohol
water based defoamer designed
for use in controlling foam in
waste water treatment plants.
This product has been designed
to eliminate surface foam
without depleting dissolved
oxygen levels. Bastech 961 has
excellent spreading properties
and is extremely cost effective.
Applications
Bastech 961 is typically added neat just prior to the foaming areas which are typically clarifiers, aeration ponds, flumes, and outfalls. Although generally added neat, it can also be pre-diluted with cold water.
Storage and Handling
This product will freeze. Please store above 40°F. If frozen the product should be warmed and mixed prior to use.
Regulatory Status
Bastech 961 is manufactured in compliance with the regulations of the Food and Drug Administration as described in 21 CFR 176.210.
This product does not contain components that are regulated by California Proposition 65.

Bastech 961 is available in bulk, tote bins at 2200 pounds net, and 55 gallon drums with a net weight of 450 pounds.
